HOT is the Forecast, But we have Started!

We are rolling. It is HOT, HOT, Hot… So our original game plan to head into the foothills of the Sierras is nadda…., we are first going to head north along the coast to stay cool…..
On Monday night Shai and I took in a show at the Hollywood Bowl to see Cheap Trick and Aerosmith-my vacation started a little early on Monday, This was Shai's first trip to the bowl, and I must say, I think he enjoyed the venue. As usual, a rock'n good time! Stan Lee came on stage to introduce the boys in the beginning, and Johnny Depp showed up on Aeros encore to play along on his axe to Train.

OMG You must have had unbelievable seats to get such good pics. Glad you and Shai had such a good time. Great way to start out your vacation. Jeanette arrives here in Rhode Island and you’ll have all three sisters watching. Ride Safe, Stay cool, Post often. We want lots of pics and videos. For us armchair bikers, this is our trip too.

Ditto what Joyce said! I saw on FB that you & Shai had gone and Shai said something about all the VIP stuff. You must have frequent flyer miles or something. I checked up on you this morning before I left for work, but of course it was the butt-ass-crack of dawn for you – or even the night before. But I’ll be following along with your progress today. Again, ditto what Joyce said – safe trip, post often, stay cool, and of course HAVE FUN!!
Looks like you’re at the Best Western for the night. What- no new post. Best Westerns are suppose to have free high speed internet. According to the Spot check in, you stopped three hours ago. Still having a beer? Waiting for the first report from the road. I’ll have to see it in the morning. It’s late here and I’m going to bed. Have to pick up Jeanette at the airport in the morning. Hope it was a good first day. Sweet dreams, guys.
I forgot to check in this morning and started bumming out on my commute when I remembered. But you did the sleuthing and they’re starting off WEAK as far as keeping us posted. Big Sur may be old hat to them, but I always enjoy pics & posts!
Jimmy I love the Big Sur ride, but in the winter, when I’m the only only one out there. Good call though, avoiding the heat during the first day.
We’re leaving for Mammoth Monday, I’ll keep you posted.
