What a way to make your sisters feel good – what do you mean the most dangerous road. What makes it so dangerous? No sleep tonight.
OMG – I’m WAY behind!! I’m skyping with Joyce and remembered I hadn’t checked in with you – been a busy weekend for me. And here you’ve got 3 days worth…I haven’t even read them yet, but the pics are great. I’ll post more when I see what you two are up to. Must say, logging in to see World’s Most Dangerous Road gave me a start…way to worry your sisters!

Here is a good website on the most dangerous roads in the world. The North Yungas was at one time #1! The most dangerous road in the world. Now there is a newer road that all the trucks take.

All caught up. I see you’re on the move already. Having an adventure is a SERIOUS understatement! I’m going to google the most dangerous road to get a better grip. BE SAFE!!
So, I googled the road and I don’t have a better grip, especially since SPOT shows you’ve been sitting on the loop of the “Death Road” for 6 HOURS!!! This is getting a little scary here…. Your worry-wart sister.
I just checked the SPOT route and it shows that they rode east on the original North Yungas Road to Coroico yesterday then returned on the new Yungas Road today. SPOT shows them in La Paz again tonight.
Yeah, I found that out. I’m not so good at interpreting the roads in South America…especially when I’m worrying that my baby brother has fallen over the edge 🙂 Thanks for the link and the info!
