Day 7 – Rapid City

Author: Not much to report here for this day. It was cloudy skies and rain when we woke up, then changed to on/off drizzle. After a slow start in the morning and when there was a break in the weather, we finally made our way to the dealership in Rapid City to check the vendor area out and to have lunch.
The weather today was off and on rain and cool. Crazy horse was on our agenda, but we killed the idea due to the weather and will try and visit the site tomorrow.
Mid afternoon we returned to the hotel and chilled by the pool/hot tub and each of us caught up on something. After a local dinner and a dice game of 10,000, we all went to the local movies and saw Cowboys and Aliens.
Here in SD, you can afford to go to the movies. A bag of popcorn and a small drink is only $1 each!

That last picture caught my attention as I tried to figure out if that was a paisley blouse and led to a bit of frustration when I couldn’t enlarge it enough to get all the details.
