Ride Wrap Up-Thanks for all that commented while we were riding – we did read them when we stopped and enjoyed them all.
As you can see from the profile of the ride, at around 57 miles we hit the Torrey Pines hill climb, which is about a 500 foot climb over 2 miles, or roughly a 6% grade. Our legs were rubber at this point of the ride, and while we grunted up the hill, other bicycles would pass us like we were standing still… Oh well, we at least made it.

And no Dean, we weren’t animals and drank a couple pitchers of beer and then ride up it, and we had terra firma under our feet as we were on the bluff of Torrey Pines Hill, not hang gliding off some cliff like someone I know…..

And what took us 8 hours and 35 minutes to ride, you can enjoy in 3 minutes and 35 seconds. Enjoy the video.

Well, stop here at 50 miles, drink beer and catch the 4:00 pm train, or push on to downtown n do the dreaded Torrey Pines Hill?
